100m

100m length track race where multiple waves of unicyclists go head to head. The winner is the one who crosses the finish line first.

400m

400m length track race where multiple waves of unicyclists go head to head. The winner is the one who crosses the finish line first.

800m

800m length track race where multiple waves of unicyclists go head to head. The winner is the one who crosses the finish line first.

30m wheelwalk

30m length track race where unicyclists propel themselves forwards by walking on their tire. The winner is the one who crosses the finish line first.

50m one foot

50m length track race where multiple waves of unicyclists pedal with one foot only (one foot riding). The winner is the one who crosses the finish line first.

Downhill Gliding

Downhill race on a moderate slope where a unicyclist rides touching only his tire to keep his balance (gliding). It is an against the clock race.

IUF Slalom

Race where an unicyclist follows a predetermined course between obstacles. The winner is the one who completes the course the fastest.

Slow Races

Unicyclists cross a wood plank of 10m x 30cm (0-10 forward, 11+ backward), 10m x 15cm (11+ forward) or 10m x 60cm (0-10 backward) as slowly as possible.

Track Coasting

Track race in which a unicyclist builds up speed before riding forwards yet without touching any part of his tire, wheel, or pedals (coasting). The winner is the one who gets the furthest on the track.

Stillstand

This competition consists in balancing without jumping or turning the tire more than 45 degrees.

All while staying on a 10cm x 25cm plank.

4×100

Relay race with teams of 4 participants, each participant will cover 100 meters, completing the 400m between the four. The team that can do it in the less time wins.

Flatland

Confrontations in a tournament form (tournament-style Battles) between two unicyclists demonstrating various combos and links of tricks on flat ground. The winner is the one who accumulates the most points from the jury.

Street

Sessions of tricks done in a creative way with the use of various urban obstacles (benches, stair sets, ramps, rails, etc).
The winner is the one who accumulates the most points from the jury.

Trials

Course composed of multiple sections of obstacles which the unicyclists must overcome.

The winner is the one who completes the most sections.

Speed Trials

Race between two unicyclists on a linear section of obstacles which they must overcome.

The winner is the one who crosses the finish line first.

High Jump

High jump over a bar.

The winner is the one who jumps over the highest bar.

Long Jump

Long jump over two sticks. The winner is the one who jumps over the longest distance separating two sticks.

Jump to platform

High jump to a platform. The participant who gets to jump to the tallest platform wins.

Individual artistic performance demonstrating links and combinations of various freestyle tricks in a choreography with music and a costume.

The winner is the one who accumulates the most points from the jury.

Pairs Freestyle

Paired artistic performance demonstrating links and combinations of various freestyle tricks in a choreography with music and a costume.

The winning couple is the one who accumulates the most points from the jury.

Freestyle Group

Group artistic performance featuring more than 3 unicyclists demonstrating links and combinations of various freestyle tricks in a choreography with music and costumes. The winning group is the one who accumulates the most points from the jury.

X Style

X-Style is a new event for freestyle/flatland riders to show off their best and favorite skills in a fair competition. It aims to be amazing to watch for the audience while being challenging and fun for the competitors.

Cross-country

Off-road race where multiple waves of unicyclists ride along a rugged course consisting of uphill, downhill and long moderate difficulty flat sections. The winner is the one who crosses the finish line first.

Downhill

Off-road race where multiple waves of unicyclists ride downhill on a rugged downslope of high difficulty.

The winner is the one who crosses the finish line first.

Uphill

Off-road race where unicyclists ride uphill on a rugged upslope of high difficulty.
The winner is the one with the fastest time.

Cyclocross

It’s a race of a given time running around on a mountain circuit with artificial obstacles, which can be overcome by dismounting. Concluding the time the participant who has completed more laps is the winner.

10K

10km road race where multiple unicyclists go head to head.

The winner is the one who crosses the finish line first.

Marathon

Multiple unicyclists go head to head in a road race measuring exactly 42.195 km. The winner is the one who crosses the finish line first.
