4. Slow race

First of all the races will be held according to the IUF rulebook. This means a qualification time of 45s in slow forward and 40s in slow backward is needed to compete in the finals. Riders who have already achieved these times in an official competition (not training) can send in a copy of the official result list, so they are directly qualified for the finals.

Finals will take part on the same day as the qualification round (scheduled for 18:00-20:00, starting with slow forward female and male, then slow backward female and male).

Competitors who would like to send in an official result can do this by latest 1st of July 2018 (mirjam.lips@gmx.ch)

For stillstand there will be no separate finals. The overall results will be determined by the best results for males and females according to the qualification round. A minimum of 20 seconds is recommended.

5. Freestyle age group

Please note that we included a statement under the “Registration” tab of the website (located at the following link: http://www.unicon19.kr/en/registration/) stating that “if we have too many participants in [the freestyle] events we may need to establish limitations by country.”  As a result, pursuant to the IUF Rulebook, the Organizing Committee still reserves the right to establish limitations in the event that we have too many competitors. As of today, we have decided not to implement any country limitations, but we will be sure to notify all participants if there is a change to that policy.

Sincerely,

The Unicon 19 Organization
